Home of big dreams and little budgets!
As per the included instructions, I removed and replaced each of the factory cap bolts one at a time.  A  3/16 hex key socket and a torque wrench were needed for this step.  Although the directions do not mention using it, I have chosen to apply some Loctite 243 thread locker during this process.  After tightening the stud into the housing to 10 ft/lbs, I finger tightened the retaining nut before proceeding to the next bolt.  Upon completing this process for one side, the two nuts were incrementally tightened to 60-75 ft/lbs while using a 5/8 socket.  The completed installation should look similar to the photo below.  Once both sides were completed, I began the installation of the new cover.
From the inside:

A conveniently low position drain plug is included for future servicing.
A nice replacement gasket is included with the kit.  Don’t forget to make sure that all the holes have been completely punched out including the areas as indicated.  Applying a thin layer of blue silicon  to the back of the gasket will help seal and hold it in place.
